About The Artists
Madeleine Kelson is a Nashville based Americana artist. She pulls from a rich tradition of Folk, Country, and Americana, challenging its boundaries as a queer artist to represent the modern world. Madeleine spent her high school years in Chicago band, The Kelson Twins, playing venues including House of Blues and Thalia Hall, and landing a top Daytrotter Session with Paste Magazine. She later moved to Music City to pursue a solo career. Inspired by artists like Patty Griffin, Jason Isbell, andBrandi Carlile, her dynamic and down-to-earth storytelling and rich vocals are part of why NPR named her one 10 Nashville artists on the rise.
Once in Nashville, Madeleine won the 2017 International Bluegrass MusicAssociation’s (IBMA) Songwriter Showcase, and in 2018 released her acclaimed solo debut Siren, an introspective five-song EP with clean, melodic vocals backed by elegant countermelodies on violin. Praised by press for its genre-defying, sparse style and emotional richness, Siren earned Kelson comparisons to both Amos Lee and Gillian Welch.
In 2022, Madeleine released her debut, self-produced album, While I Was Away, on Olivia Records. Since its release she has gained praise from No Depression, been featured multiple times in NPR, and was a finalist in the prestigious Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition. Her queer country anthem, The Way I Do, became a viral TikTok hit with over 1.7 million views. Madeleine has been featured on Spotify editorial playlists including Queer as Folk, Emerging Americana, and Fresh Finds Folk. Her new EP, Where the Spirit Meets the Muscle, was released in February 2024.
Amy Martin emerges from the margins with her upcoming release Bones, an album born in restless nights and quiet reckonings — a record carved from hollow spaces and unresolved loss. With a voice steeped in raw honesty, the project sheds skin to reveal what remains: bone and marrow, fragility and stubborn strength.
Bones is not just a collection of songs, but a slow-burning confession — an excavation of grief in its many forms: the absence of loved ones, faith eroded by politics and religion, the weight of death, and the quieter ache of carrying the past into the present. Each track inhabits a different stage — anger, denial, bargaining, depression, acceptance — not as a linear path, but as emotional states that overlap, repeat, and refuse to resolve.
Rooted in Americana yet unafraid to wander, the album draws from dusky folk intimacy, roots rock grit, and acoustic confessionals. What makes Bones distinct is its quiet courage — the willingness to sit inside sorrow long enough for something true to surface.
For listeners drawn to music that doesn’t gloss over scars but instead traces their outlines, Bones offers solace, grit, and the uncompromising truth of a heart laid bare — a reminder that grief can be carried, named, and shared, and that no one walks it alone.
There's a quiet gravity to Lewis Turner's music: a folky, heartfelt pull toward the shared experiences of love, loss, and wandering.
The Colorado-raised songwriter deals in slow folk: unhurried, honest songs that draw you in and fill quiet spaces. He was raised at the foot of the Rockies among poets, musicians, and weirdos, and that upbringing shaped an artist who doesn't just perform music, but creates something closer to a shared moment. A room full of strangers, briefly held together by the same feeling. Watch him and you'll see it happening in real time: the moment listeners stop checking their phones and start really listening.
His 2023 debut album, Of Fibre and Fixes, made the case plainly. Produced by Tyler Lindgren and Andrew Berlin, veterans whose credits span Gregory Alan Isakov to Rise Against, it was a collection of folk songs that felt nostalgic and fresh at once. Early recognition, both locally and internationally, had been building toward something. That album clarified what.
The releases that followed continued to refine a sound built on honesty and emotional reach. His June 2025 two-sided single stretched into new sonic territory, and the fall 2025 Fishin' For You EP pushed further still, a three-song set that felt like a door left deliberately ajar.
Now that door swings open. 2nd, Turner's sophomore record, arrives May 2026, the work of a songwriter fully at ease in his folk roots, exploring a widening depth of sounds and emotions: catchy, playful, and deep in feeling all at once. As Turner puts it: "I've come a long way, got a long way to go."
Salomé Songbird is a Colorado-based stringband sharing deeply personal music inspired by life experiences, cartoons, and nature.
Started by Ariele Macadangdang and Joy Adams as an outlet for original songs amidst Miami’s classical music scene, Salomé Songbird reconnected in Colorado with the addition of Bryan Dubrow. For the past few years they have been performing their self-described “scathing lullabies” for listening audiences around Colorado, releasing several singles along the way.
Between them Joy, Ariele, and Bryan have backgrounds including old-time, jazz, bluegrass, classical, rock, and pop music. They weave these influences (with the help of intuition and a lot trial and error) into their own take on acoustic music that’s been described as “a musical mantra, pushing through darkness and precipitous mental health to find strength,” and “storytelling and sound [woven] together to create something not easily forgotten.”
Band members have performed with artists including Darol Anger, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Flobots, Kygo, Sigur Rós, and Big Richard.

About Rebecca Frazier
Rebecca Frazier began performing professionally in Telluride, Colorado, in the late 90’s. Frazier came to national attention in 2006 as the first woman on the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, and after moving to Nashville in 2007, she was recognized as “a genuine triple threat as a singer, songwriter, and flatpicking guitarist” by The Nashville Scene. The Virginia native was later picked up by Compass Records for her flatpicking/songwriting solo showcase When We Fall, which was called “the best bluegrass album of 2013” by Henry Carrigan of The Bluegrass Situation. The album received heavy airplay on SiriusXM Radio and peaked at #3 on the national Roots Music Report Chart. In 2018, Frazier became the first woman to be nominated for SPBGMA Guitar Performer of the Year and was nominated again in 2019. Paste Magazine deemed Frazier one of “Seven Women Smashing the Bluegrass Glass Ceiling” in 2017. Other honors include Frazier’s featured appearance singing and playing “Keep on the Sunnyside” on Hank Williams’ biopic, the 20th Century Fox The Last Ride movie soundtrack released by Curb Records in 2012, and Frazier’s 2009 IBMA Recorded Event of the Year award for her work on the Daughters of Bluegrass’ Bluegrass Bouquet. Frazier is a founding member of Hit & Run, the first and only band to win all three high-profile bluegrass band contests—Telluride (2003), Rockygrass (2002), and SPBGMA (2005) Festival Competitions. Dubbed “East Nashville real deal bluegrass” by journalist Craig Havighurst, the band has toured throughout 41 states and Canada since 2002 and has performed as Rebecca Frazier and Hit & Run since 2013. Frazier earned a B.A. in Music from the University of Michigan and studied guitar at Berklee College of Music. She has taught workshops across the U.S. and Canada since 2005, and was on staff at Nashville Music Academy from 2008 to 2021.
We are so excited to have highly acclaimed artists Abbie Gardner (of Red Molly) and Martin Gilmore with us at The Stone Cottage for an Outdoor Artist Series Concert on May 30th! You are in for a wonderful evening of music in the gardens at The Stone Cottage! Bring your low-back chairs/blankets, picnics and drinks of choice, and then kick back and relax for the show. About Abbie Gardner
Abbie Gardner is a fiery dobro player with an infectious smile. Whether performing solo or with Americana darlings Red Molly, her songs are propelled by impeccable slide guitar chops. Her live show is truly unique - as an award-winning songwriter, captivating vocalist, and a world-class lap style dobro player, she has an unmistakable sound all her own. This sound of vocals and dobro unaccompanied is masterfully captured on her 2022 CD "DobroSinger." The record hit #11 on the Billboard Blues Charts and #2 on the Folk DJ Charts. It’s a raw intimate recording full of blues and heartfelt ballads. Quite a contrast to Wishes on a Neon Sign (2018) which featured a co-write with Chris Stapleton and leaned on full band production. She's a Kerrville New Folk Finalist (2025) and was recently nominated for Folk Alliance International's Artist of the Year (ceremony in Jan 2026). Though she has traveled around the world with Red Molly, Abbie stands strong as a solo act and has opened for Lori McKenna, Hot Rize, and Martina McBride.

ABOUT stone cottage studios
Founded and launched in early 2018 in Boulder Colorado, the Stone Cottage Studios is a hybrid music venue and a music discovery space in support and promotion of local and visiting musicians. We are musicians, songwriters, audio engineers and filmmakers. We are passionate about music and the community and provide pro audio recording and cinematic video production in both our authentic, unique and inspirational live studio and in our intimate hybrid music venues. We help artists bring music to their fans and the world and music lovers with the discovery of new artists.
In addition to being a live music venue, we bring artists and fans together globally through High Definition Live Stream Concerts and also promote artists through our Studio Artist Sessions. These sessions are interview based and artists are able to tell their stories and connect with fans through conversation and their music. We help musicians with marketing and visibility by distributing the sessions and individual song performances across available media channels. It’s all about capturing musicians at their best and discovery across musical genres!
The original cottage was built in the early 1900’s by a local miner and stone mason. We rebuilt the studio in 2012 with Arts and Music in mind and the Stone Cottage Studios was born. The goal was to give rise to a unique, intimate and inspirational space that showcases musicians with high level audio recording and filming. Every aspect in the studio from the gear and the expertise was assembled to create the very best experience for everyone. With the growth of our Stone Cottage Team and our expansion into the hybrid live and live stream space, we are more excited than ever to brig our unique experience and intimate stages to the artists, fans and the music community— all in the celebration of the beauty that music adds to our lives.
Come join us!

Live Artist Sessions
Live Sessions provide musicians with an opportunity to communicate with their fans and play some of their songs. We record a 30-min interview-based session with 2-3 songs, then distribute the full session as well as individual songs across various media platforms.

As we grow, we’d love to know more about you’d like to see or what would help you in your discovery.
